Product Consultant

What will you be doing?

As a Product Consultant, you will be part of our Consultancy & Support team, consisting of a Manager Consultancy & Support, Product Consultants, and Support Consultants.

The success of our product depends on a well-configured environment and proper customer guidance. Together with your colleagues, you will support our customers in using the software and handle inquiries received via telephone or email. During your initial period, you will learn the basics of our software systems and shadow your colleagues as much as possible. This way, you will get to know all facets of your role, our product, and our organization.

Because our software requires a high level of expertise, we start with an intensive onboarding program from day one. Once you feel ready, you will independently support our customers with all their questions. We distribute the workload among different consultants daily. Some questions are simpler and can be handled independently within just a few months. We receive user inquiries from customers, and you will help them and advise them on how to use the system more efficiently.

Other questions we receive are more complex and require more extensive software knowledge. This knowledge requires more time and attention. By asking the right questions and analyzing the situation, you will quickly discover where the problem lies and how to work toward a solution. There are questions and/or problems you can solve yourself, while other cases will need to be escalated to the implementation consultants or our programmers/testers. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the customer is always operational.

You are responsible for analyzing customer needs and translating them into effective solutions. You advise customers on the most appropriate direction for their processes. You are (co-)responsible for the functional and operational aspects during implementation projects. You will be involved in (internal) optimization projects and other projects related to the Lease- and RentWise software for our customers both domestically and internationally.

A financial background is a valuable asset for a Product Consultant, as it provides insight into business processes and financial systems. It enables you to make connections between customer needs and ERP solutions more quickly. However, it is not a hard requirement; analytical thinking, a customer-oriented attitude, and a willingness to learn are at least as important. Training and guidance will ensure you can fill any gaps. Your enthusiasm and problem-solving ability will make the difference!

We expect from you:

• a professional working and thinking level in fields such as: Business IT, Business Administration, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or another relevant education
• customer-friendly; you are service-oriented and helpful
• strong communication skills; you are able to build a good relationship with our customers
• analytical ability; you are good at getting to the bottom of a problem or issue. You think in terms of solutions and take ownership of the outcome
• eager to learn; you are able to maintain and further develop your knowledge level
• passion for ICT services and/or the automotive industry
• excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing
• a ‘promise is a promise’ mentality
• knowledge of SQL is a plus
• you are willing to travel domestically and internationally
